Why did I receive a text message?

You received an SMS message because you provided your phone number to a local service business that uses RatingSelect™ — either by submitting a contact or inquiry form on their website, or during their intake or service process — and consented to receive a follow-up message. The business shared your contact information with us solely for the purpose of sending you a review request.

Who sent the message?

Messages are sent by RatingSelect™ (operated by Direct Frontier LLC) on behalf of the local service business named in the message. RatingSelect is a messaging platform — the business you worked with is the sender of record.

How to opt out

To stop receiving messages, reply STOP to any RatingSelect message. You will receive one final confirmation message and no further messages will be sent to your number. Your opt-out is permanent — you will not be re-enrolled without providing new consent.

Message and data rates

Standard message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier plan. Message frequency is typically 1–2 messages per service interaction.
